Description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Café Manager to lead our popular café at RSL LifeCare Retirement Village in Newcastle.

This 12-month fixed-term maternity leave contract offers the opportunity to be part of a vibrant retirement living community where hospitality, connection and customer experience are at the heart of what we do. Serving residents, families, staff, visitors and the wider community, our café is a valued gathering place that brings people together.

What You'll Do
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the café
  • Lead, coach and support a small café team
  • Deliver excellent customer service and presentation standards
  • Drive café sales and increase both internal and external patronage
  • Manage stock, ordering, costs and food safety compliance
  • Coordinate village events and catering opportunities
  • Support local marketing and promotional activities
  • Create a welcoming and community-focused café environment

What You'll Bring
