Casual Day Shift Forklift Driver – Poultry Production
Northern Suburbs | Immediate Starts Available
APG Workforce is currently seeking experienced Counterbalance Forklift Drivers for casual Day Shift positions at a leading poultry production facility located in The Northern Suburbs. This is a great opportunity for reliable, safety-focused forklift operators looking for ongoing casual work with the potential for regular hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift within a busy poultry production facility
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Transport raw materials, packaging and finished products throughout the site
  • Supply production lines with stock as required
  • Move pallets to dispatch and cold storage areas
  • Conduct daily forklift safety inspections
  • Follow all food safety, quality assurance and workplace health and safety procedures
To Be Successful You Will Have
  • Current LF Forklift Licence held for a minimum of two (2) years
  • Proven Counterbalance Forklift experience in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment
  • Previous poultry, food manufacturing or production experience is highly regarded
  • Ability to work in chilled and refrigerated environments
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling
  • Flexibility to work overtime and additional shifts when required
  • Two recent, valid and contactable work references
  • Reliable transport with excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and food hygiene
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
  • Full Australian working rights
