About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Global Fruit Supply, a leading Australian fruits and vegetables retail and wholesale store. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Retail Manager who is passionate about achieving sales targets, leading high-performing teams, and delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the store to achieve sales and performance targets.
  • Oversee cash handling and cash management procedures.
  • Develop and maintain an effective product mix, stock levels, and merchandising standards.
  • Monitor inventory, budgets, and other financial aspects of store performance.
  • Drive sales growth and maximise profitability.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop team members to achieve business objectives.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor store staff.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high service standards.
  • Promote the store's products and services within the local community.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) policies and relevant legislation.

Skills & Experience

The successful applicant will have:

  • Previous experience in a retail environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience managing budgets, sales targets, and inventory.
  • Sound knowledge of retail and wholesale products (preferred).
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and people management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • A customer-focused attitude with the ability to lead by example.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, Management, or a related field.
  • Relevant retail management experience is highly desirable.
