What You Will Be Doing

The Women’s Health Unit at Bayside Health is looking to recruit Non-Accredited Registrars in Obstetrics & Gynaecology to join our team. The position is until 31/01/2027 and is designed to support skill development toward the RANZCOG certificate of women’s health, associate and advanced procedural training programs or prevocational pathway for RANZCOG selection. The role includes Registrar responsibilities at Peninsula University Hospital, Frankston Surgical Centre and Sandringham Hospital.

Our Obstetrics service provides care for around 3000 births per year with pregnancies of a range of complexities. We have a rapidly growing Gynaecology service, with great surgical training opportunities. We pride ourselves on a culture of support and mentoring, and a strong collaborative relationship with midwives, nurses, allied health and other specialty teams. Research and academic opportunities are available with onsite and tertiary affiliate support.

What You Need

MBBS or equivalent
Current AHPRA General, limited or provisional registration as a Medical Practitioner
PGY3 or above at time of commencement
Australian O&G experience of at least one year
