Fixed Term Full-time - 80 hours per fortnight plus monthly ADO
Available from 19th October 2026 to 18th October 2027
Portland District Health is expanding our friendly team and are seeking a graduate radiographer or early career radiographer. If you are a positive, enthusiastic and motivated individual seeking a diverse clinical load then we have the job for you.
About the role:
- Work across multiple modalities including General X-ray, CT, Theatre and Mammography.
- Comprehensive CT training and career development in a supported environment.
- Modern equipment including DR, CT, US, CBCT, DEXA and 3D Mammography.
- Enjoy fantastic sea views from the Medical Imaging Department.
- Earn ADO’s and take a paid day off per month.
Grade 1 classification: $74,172- $90,183 per annum.

About you:
You are a graduate or early career radiographer. Interest in developing your skills and experience in CT. Demonstrate compassionate and holistic patient focussed care, in an acute hospital setting. Contribute to the multi-disciplinary team through excellent communication and organisational skills. Looking to grow and expand your knowledge in Medical Imaging.
- Medical Radiation Practitioner AHPRA Registration or eligible late 2026.
- Victorian Radiation use licence or eligible late 2026.

Portland District Health (PDH) provides an integrated health service for the community. The hospital was established in 1856 on the current site and now provides a comprehensive range of services that include:
- Hospital based Medical and Surgical services, Medical Imaging (Radiology), Pharmacy and Pathology
- A 24/7 Urgent Care Centre for emergency treatment
- Residential aged care for 30 residents at Harbourside Lodge
- An extensive range of primary and community services for the local community
PDH delivers services from a single campus, employs around 470 staff with an FTE of approximately 290, and has an active volunteer workforce. The People and Culture Unit sits within the Corporate Services Directorate, with other Units including Finance, Building Services, Food Services, Environmental Services, Executive Support, Administration and Health Information.
