ABOUT THE ROLE

The role will see the successful candidate working across a diverse range of projects, producing brand concepts, identities, proposals and presentations as well as signage, wayfinding and a dash of digital. You’ll never be bored, and there will always be a fun challenge along the way, as no two projects are the same.

We’re looking for a full-time junior to mid-weight branding and graphic designer who can take ideas and turn them into tangible designs that exceed client expectations. With excellent communication skills, you know the right questions to ask, have incredible attention to detail, and have great planning skills.

You are a conceptual thinker who develops a diverse range of compelling creative ideas. You have the ability to think strategically as well as aesthetically. You are culturally engaged and have a confident handle on trends and forecasts to create stunning and iconic designs.

We have a great team that all bring something unique to the table with varying experiences. You will work directly under our Creative Lead, which provides an opportunity for close collaboration and professional growth. The role requires someone willing to work efficiently and also take the time to collaborate and share their knowledge with the rest of the team.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in design and at least 1 year of professional experience.

  • You must have the legal right to work in your current country.

  • You have technical proficiency and advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

  • You are capable of preparing print-ready finished art (FA).

  • Knowledge of Figma, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe After Effects is a plus.

  • You possess a design sensibility, strong aesthetic taste and a keen eye for visual detail. You stay updated on trends within the lifestyle, hospitality, and F&B sectors.

  • You are a problem solver and can interpret complex briefs and feedback to provide functional design solutions from conception to delivery.

  • You ensure brand standards are maintained across all project touchpoints.

  • You have excellent English skills. You can present your work with a clear rationale and ask the right questions to move projects forward.

  • You are organised, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive, collaborative attitude. An interest in culinary culture is preferred.

PORTFOLIO REQUIREMENT

  • Evidence of brand concept and identity creation.

  • A range of printed and digital outputs.

  • Examples of work within the hospitality or lifestyle sectors.
