Description:
2/1 Roster
12 hour days
Full uniform, all meals, accommodation.

The role:
Cater Care Services are seeking an experienced Handyperson with some utility knowledge to join one of our remote mining villages. You will be required to complete non-trade handyperson duties as well as assist the broader utility team where required.

What this role involves:
Handyperson duties - replacing locks/door handles/washers and general camp maintenance
Common Area Cleaning - emptying bins, sweeping, mopping, general cleaning
Utility duties when required - Housekeeping and Kitchen Hand
Load / unload truck on delivery day
Gardening & Grounds Work
Baggage handling

Skills and Experiences:
What we require from you:
Current Australian driver's license
Forklift license (highly desirable)
Dangerous Goods certificate (highly desirable)
National Police Clearance within 6 months, or willing to obtain
Previous experience as a handyperson
Ability to work well with other team members
Motivated, enthusiastic and positive ‘can-do’ attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to pass a pre employment medical + drug & alcohol screening
Physically fit and able to work long hours with repetitive tasks
Ability to work in varying degrees of heat, cold, humidity & inclement weather
