The Uniting Church in South Australia includes approximately 250 congregations conducting extensive and diverse mission activities across the state. A new opportunity exists for a permanent part-time (0.5FTE) Property Administration Assistant to join the Property Services Team.

We are seeking a self-motivated, experienced administration professional to provide exceptional administration support to the Property Services Team.

The Property Administration Assistant will be responsible for maintaining and improving the delivery of administration processes within a wide range of responsibilities in areas such as property development, property management and compliance, real estate transactions and motor vehicle fleet management.

Reporting to the Manager, Property and Projects, the Property Administration Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Records management and filing systems,
  • Administrative support for leasing, sales and purchases of property,
  • Support to congregations relating to property-related correspondence from Government and other service providers requiring action from the relevant congregations.

The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal and communications skills, a strong focus on customer service, and a proven ability to manage and prioritise work. Experience in the property industry is desirable but not a requirement.
