The Position

  • Based in the Toowoomba region, you will lead a high-performing culinary team, driving exceptional food experiences, operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • You will oversee the delivery of catering services, focusing on quality menu design, food preparation and service, innovation, emerging food trends, industry standards, nutrition, customer service and customer satisfaction.
  • Leading an established and dedicated team, you will be accountable for the operational, financial and people performance of the business.
  • Your hands-on approach to managing the operation will ensure your success, as will your willingness to go the extra mile to deliver outstanding results.
  • Working closely with a variety of clients and customers, your excellent communication and relationship management skills will be key to delivering operational excellence.
  • You will receive full administrative support and training in our management systems and enjoy the career opportunities that come with success in this role.

The Person

  • Proven experience managing food safety, compliance, labour costs and financial performance within a high-volume catering or hospitality environment.
  • Strong multi-outlet experience within high-volume catering operations, with a proven ability to lead diverse catering environments and deliver exceptional service across boardrooms, cafés, functions, fine dining experiences and sporting events.
  • A passionate culinary leader who combines creativity, commercial acumen and a commitment to delivering exceptional food experiences.
  • A natural leader with a unique approach to catering, bringing flair, warmth and outstanding cuisine in a friendly, casual setting.
  • The ability to bring fresh ideas and demonstrate expertise in creating culinary benchmarks through modern flavours, presentation and the use of local produce.
  • A demonstrated ability to lead, develop and inspire teams through effective leadership, training and safety compliance.
  • An energetic, progressive and creative professional who remains pragmatic and focused in a dynamic and challenging environment.
  • The ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with staff, key clients and customers, supported by strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, as required by operational needs.
