Salary: $152,695 - $176,065 p.a. (pro-rate for part time) plus 17% super

In this Health Informatician role, you will lead secure health data sharing for pandemic therapeutics research with the Cummings Global Centre for Pandemic Therapeutics (CGCPT).
You will design robust governance, analytics and infrastructure that connect hospitals, laboratories, governments and global collaborators.
You will gain wide exposure to senior stakeholders and cutting-edge infectious diseases science at the Doherty Institute and the Melbourne biomedical precinct.
What you will deliver:
- Lead development and implementation of data governance frameworks, agreements and policies for CGCPT health data assets.
- Establish and manage efficient workflows for secure data sharing with hospitals, laboratories, governments and international partners.
- Collaborate with computational scientists and software engineers to deliver fit-for-purpose databases and data repository infrastructure.
- Support data-driven research projects and competitive grant applications through expert advice on data design, access and analysis.
- Design and deliver training for CGCPT staff and students on best practice in health data sharing and governance.
