Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology is an established and well-respected pathology practice offering comprehensive, high-quality pathology across NSW and north-west Victoria. Position description

We are seeking enthusiastic Part-Time Pathology Collectors to join our vibrant Patient Services Team. You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting blood and non-blood samples from patients, including conducting basic tests such as ECG and Holter Monitoring
  • Following strict guidelines and procedures to ensure all samples are accurately labelled
  • Guiding patients or caregivers on sampling procedures
  • Preparing specimens for transportation to the laboratory

  • Is open to working part-time hours on a scheduled roster, Monday to Sunday.

  • Team player with the ability to work unsupervised
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High-level attention to detail and record-keeping skills.

Prior to commencement, all candidates must provide documentary evidence of the following:

  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Commitment to annual influenza vaccination.

A National Police Check (completed through DHM), Working with Children clearance and First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) will be required prior to commencement.
Please note that our program requires a non-negotiable minimum 20 hours per week commitment.
