IT Helpdesk Support Officer
We are seeking a skilled IT Helpdesk Technician for our Pimpama campus.
This is a Full Time position, Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing the first line of support to the Staff and Students on any IT related issues, either by telephone, email or face to face.
- Performing preventative maintenance, including checking critical alerts, creating tickets, prioritising and escalating these to the appropriate technician.
- Troubleshooting software and hardware issues in a Apple based environment.
- Use an industry leading ticketing system to track client requests, time management and project work.
- Ensure you follow through with all issues to completion and ensuring if issues are not resolved that they are escalated to the next level of support in a timely manner.
- Ensure the inventory record for all IT related hardware is managed and up to date.
- When required, install or configure new and existing client software or applications.
- Perform user account administration maintaining user access in the various Systems and Software.
- Provide feedback on continuous improvement of processes and procedures in order to enhance the current use of products or reduce incoming call volume.
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, hardware, phone systems, printing and all IT related queries.
- Ensure all internal systems and procedures are followed correctly.
The ideal applicant will have:
- IT Helpdesk experience
- Familiar with Apple iPadOS, iOS, MacOS ecosystem

Your curriculum vitae should include details for;
- at least 2 recent professional referees
- at least 1 referee who can attest to your suitability to work within the values and culture of an expanding Christian school (preferably from a Pastor or Minister).
