Full job description

Position Vacant – Supermarket All Rounder Team Member

Join Our Team!

We are seeking a motivated, reliable, and customer-focused All Rounder Team Member to join our supermarket team. This is a varied and hands-on role that offers the opportunity to work across multiple departments, providing excellent service to our customers while supporting the daily operation of the store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and assist customers with enquiries.
  • Replenish and maintain fresh produce displays to a high standard.
  • Work within the deli department, including food preparation, serving customers, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring product freshness and presentation.
  • Work within the liquor department, including responsible service and merchandising.
  • Complete nightfill duties, including stocking shelves, rotating stock, and maintaining presentation.
  • Assist with duty management responsibilities, including supervising team members, ensuring compliance with store policies, and supporting daily store operations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems and handle transactions accurately when required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Previous supermarket or retail experience is preferred but not essential.
  • A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate (or willingness to obtain one) for liquor department duties.
