Full job description

As a Stadium Attendant, you will play an integral role in the smooth operation of our Shellharbour City Stadium.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness, assisting with event setups, delivering engaging sports programs and birthday parties and providing top-notch customer service. You will be the friendly face that greets our guests, helping create an enjoyable and memorable experience!

Shellharbour City Stadium offers basketball and netball competitions, sports birthday parties and development programs for all ages as well as holiday programs.

With a mix of physical tasks and administrative duties, this position is perfect for those who are energetic and eager to contribute to a thriving sports environment. Your role will also involve liaising with sporting groups and assisting in the coordination and facilitation of various events, sports programs and birthday parties, making each day unique and fulfilling.

Various shifts are on offer ranging from 6am to 10pm, Monday to Sunday working together to maintain a safe stadium for our participants, customers and employees.

About you:

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are ready to take on challenges and embrace opportunities for growth. If you possess a passion for sports and community service, we want to hear from you!

  • Current Provide First Aid Certificate & CPR.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a knack for teamwork.
  • Experience in retail or food service and with cash handling.
  • Physical capability to undertake cleaning and maintenance tasks.

In addition to the essential qualifications, we value experience in sports facilities and commercial cleaning. If you hold a current NSW Driver’s License or have coaching experience, that will be a bonus!

  • Casual positions working a variety of shifts Monday to Sunday, 6am-10pm
  • Salary of $38.18 per hour (inclusive of casual loading)
  • Plus 12% superannuation
  • Penalties are paid in addition to the base hourly rate for Saturday and Sunday work

Please Note:

  • This position requires a current "Working with Children Check" clearance in accordance with the 'Child Protection (WWC) Act 2012 for Paid workers
  • A National Policy History Record check is a requirement of this position
  • You will need to complete a Pre-placement Medical Assessment
  • A First Aid Certificate is an essential requirement of this position, therefore no allowance is payable.
