Holmesglen Private are currently on the lookout for a Clinical Coder to join their team on a permanent full-time basis. If you are someone

  • Passionate about clinical coding

  • Enjoys coming into the office

  • Likes paper medical records and reading doctor’s handwriting

  • Loves a good morning tea celebration

If so, we would love you to join our Health Information Services team as a Clinical Coder / Health Information Manager at Holmesglen Private Hospital, Healthscope.

About Holmesglen Private Hospital

Holmesglen Private is located in Moorabbin, South Eastern region of Melbourne.

Holmesglen Private is a state of the art 147 bed hospital, comprising of a 24/7 Emergency Department, 6 bed Intensive Care Unit, 9 bed specialised Coronary Care Unit, 12 bay Day Infusion Unit and 5 specialised inpatient units. – including Oncology, Urology, ENT, Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery, Interventional Cardiology and Rehabilitation Services.


The Role:

  • Coding, coding, and more coding!

  • Collaborate with our fabulous Clinical Documentation Specialist team

  • Participate in education and quality activities

  • Other responsibilities, such as mandatory reporting are available if that is of interest to you


Essential criteria:

  • Qualification in Clinical Coding or Health Information Management

  • Experience in clinical coding within an acute hospital setting

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
