Two positions are on offer, either as a dental receptionist or dental assistant.
Dental Receptionist
Interested in helping to provide the best care for patients? Have you wanted a taste of working in the health industry? We are looking to hire a personable dental receptionist to join our team.
To be successful as a dental receptionist, you should be able to organise and maintain patient waiting areas as well as front-desk areas. Ultimately, a top-performing dental receptionist will perform all duties in a manner that ensures the efficient running of the dental practice.
Responsibilities as a dental receptionist include:
- Opening and closing the dental practice.
- Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice.
- Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed.
- Assisting patients to fill out medical history forms.
- Preparing patients’ charts and daily schedules for the dental staff.
- Updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedures.
- Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing telephonic reminders.
- Making telephone recalls and reminding patients to return for uncompleted dental treatment.
- Communicating with insurance providers.
- Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed.
- Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, scanning, and filing.
- Undertaking dental assistant duties at times when necessary.

Dental Assistant
An opening is also available for either experienced dental assistants or those who are interested in working as a dental assistant trainee.
We welcome dental assistant trainees who is/will be enrolling in a Certificate III Traineeship as a Dental Assistant. If you wish to receive training in-house, we also provide the opportunity to do so.
About the role:
- Engaging and preparing patients for dental examinations
- Responsible for sterilising and preparing dental equipment
- Assist the dentist while treatments are being carried out. This will include mixing materials for fillings, passing the dentist equipment and recording information as the dentist carries out an examination
- Front desk reception duties at times
- Maintaining stock control
- Potential for future career advancements into senior roles.

Full time or part time position is available.
