Mr Papa Peruvian Street Food is currently seeking a talented front of house/all rounder staff member to join our amazing team.

About Us

Established in 2013, Mr Papa Street Food has been bringing the tastes of Lima, Peru to Canberra! Our guests enjoy classic Peruvian street favourites in our shop and catering events.

We pride ourselves on serving every bite packed with flavour, and a celebration of Peruvian food, culture, and family. We aspire to prepare our food from high quality, fresh and local ingredients in a fun, positive, and supportive atmosphere.

Job Description

Your duties as a FOH team member include but are not limited to;

  • Reporting to Senior Staff and Management
  • Customer Service - in person and over the phone
  • Taking Orders
  • Use of various POS - Me&U, Square, Uber Eats
  • Preparing and Serving Orders
  • Assisting the team where needed such as lunch orders and catering preparations
  • Day-to-day duties such as stock keep, clean, etc

Applicants require;

  • Statement of Attainment in Safe Food Handling
  • Drivers License preferred
  • Positive Can-do attitude
  • Customer orientated
  • Exceptional communication with team and customers

The ideal applicant will possess;

  • Previous hospitality experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to maintain focus in slow periods and excel in fast paced environments
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • High quality and attention to detail
  • Prioritise and complete multiple tasks in short period of time
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol
