About the Role: Insight IT is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team in Woolloomooloo, NSW. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving our digital capabilities forward, focusing on creating innovative and efficient software solutions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Architect and Document Systems: Develop system architectures and detailed design documents to guide the creation of robust software applications.
  • Develop and Implement Applications: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code across various programming languages like ASP.NET, VB.NET, Java, and C++ to build and deploy software applications.
  • Bug Resolution and Quality Assurance: Identify, analyze, and resolve software issues while ensuring comprehensive coverage with unit, integration, and performance tests.
  • Software Integration and Deployment: Seamlessly integrate software components and third-party systems, ensuring reliable deployment of programs.
  • Optimization and Maintenance: Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing software to boost performance, security, and scalability.
  • Collaboration and Team Leadership: Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to gather requirements and ensure high-quality outputs. Provide mentorship to junior engineers and participate in code reviews to uphold code quality.
  • User Feedback Analysis: Actively gather and analyze user feedback to inform continuous improvement efforts.
  • Technical Documentation: Create meticulous technical documentation for system reference and reporting purposes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Software Engineer.

Salary: $115,000 per annum plus Superannuation.

Work Status: Permanent Full Time/Part Time
