WALGA is seeking an experienced ICT Support Engineer to join our Information Technology team in a full-time permanent position.

The role is responsible for supporting, maintaining, testing and improving WALGA's ICT infrastructure, business applications and technology environments to ensure reliable, secure and efficient service delivery across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing technical support for ICT infrastructure, hardware, software, networks, Microsoft 365 environments and business applications.

Diagnosing, investigating and resolving system, application and connectivity issues through analysis, testing and implementation of appropriate solutions.

Installing, configuring, maintaining and upgrading computer hardware, software, operating systems and peripheral equipment.

Supporting the administration, security and performance of user accounts, email systems and Microsoft 365 services.

Assisting with the implementation, testing, maintenance and continuous improvement of business application systems and technology solutions.

Monitoring ICT service requests and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to improve system reliability and user experience.

Preparing and maintaining technical documentation, system procedures, asset registers and user support materials.

Liaising with internal stakeholders and technology vendors to support ICT projects, business system enhancements and organisational technology initiatives.

Assisting with user training and promoting best-practice use of ICT systems and technologies.

Requirements:

Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.

Experience supporting enterprise ICT environments, Microsoft 365 platforms, business applications and end-user technologies.

Demonstrated troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
