Tell me more...Cairns is a laid-back tropical city in Far North Queensland known for its warm climate, relaxed lifestyle, and strong connection to nature. It serves as a gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest, making it a hub for outdoor adventures like snorkelling, diving and hiking.

This role supports prevention and health promotion across the Torres and Cape by implementing key initiatives under the partnership between TCHHS and Health and Wellbeing Queensland. It leads programs like My Health for Life and 10,000 Steps, ensuring they are culturally appropriate and community-focused, while also driving new opportunities that align with broader strategic goals. The position builds workforce capability, strengthens partnerships, and embeds sustainable, evidence-based prevention practices across the organisation.
