Casual Disability Support Worker – Melbourne North, West & East

Make a Difference Every Day

We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated Disability Support Workers to join our growing team on a casual basis across Melbourne's Northern, Western, and Eastern suburbs.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support people living with disabilities to achieve their goals, build independence, and participate fully in their communities.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support tailored to each participant's individual needs. Shifts may include:

  • Community access and social support
  • Personal care and daily living assistance
  • Supporting participants to attend appointments
  • Skill development and capacity building
  • Recreational activities and community participation
  • Transport assistance
  • Supporting participants in their home environment

What We're Looking For

You are someone who:

  • Is passionate about supporting people with disabilities
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Is reliable, professional, and empathetic
  • Can work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrates a person-centred and strengths-based approach

Essential Requirements

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Working With Children Check (Employee)
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence
  • Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Smartphone with internet access
  • Full Australian working rights

Desirable

  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services, or related field
  • Experience supporting individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, psychosocial disabilities, or complex behaviours
