About the role:
Victoria Police is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the Information Services Unit. This role provides essential support to intelligence and investigative functions through the coordination of information requests and effective liaison with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will demonstrate sound communication and analytical skills, a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality, and the ability to quickly develop proficiency across a range of information technology systems.

Your duties will include:
- Assisting with the collection, collation, and evaluation of telecommunications and other external information to support intelligence gathering and investigative processes.
- Maintaining accurate digital and manual records, ensuring system integrity, and handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Developing and maintaining a sound working knowledge of the Telecommunications Act 1979 and related legislation.
- Building effective relationships with stakeholders and providing reliable, well-informed advice.
- Performing general office support duties as needed.
About You:
The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and contribute effectively within a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Confidence and experience in using a range of IT systems
- The ability to multitask and adapt within a dynamic, fast-paced operational setting
Further Information:
- One (1) x part-time (0.6), ongoing position available.
- With a part-time position, the salary plus superannuation will be pro rata
- This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
- The successful applicant will be required to undergo National Security Vetting, achieve and maintain a security classification as determined by the Department Head. To achieve this, applicants must be an Australian Citizen.
- The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
