About the Role

Join a busy and supportive Anaesthesia team where you’ll keep medical workforce operations running smoothly. You’ll manage recruitment, rostering and employment processes, build strong partnerships across SA Health, and provide trusted advice that supports doctors throughout their career journey. Your work will help deliver safe, efficient and high-quality care across the program.

What you'll do

  • Lead medical workforce administration across the Anaesthesia program
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding and employment of Medical Officers
  • Coordinate trainee allocations, rotations and workforce planning
  • Prepare and maintain medical rosters and leave records
  • Monitor compliance with Enterprise Agreement requirements and safe work hours
  • Support International Medical Graduates through recruitment, registration and employment processes
  • Build strong relationships with Medical Leads, Heads of Unit and HR partners
  • Provide expert advice on medical workforce policies and procedures
  • Liaise with AHPRA, SA MET, SA Health, Immigration and other key stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate workforce data, records and reporting
  • Resolve workforce issues with sound judgement and a customer-focused approach
  • Help attract, retain and support a high-performing medical workforce
