Our Vacation Program is designed for students who want real insight into professional life and a meaningful start to their career. Over 4 to 6 weeks, you will gain hands‑on experience working with teams across accounting, tax and advisory, supporting a wide range of complex and dynamic clients. It is an opportunity to see how your studies translate into real work and what life as a graduate at Grant Thornton could look like.
From day one, you will be supported through meaningful work, genuine mentorship and a culture that values what makes you different. You will gain exposure to real client challenges, develop practical skills and build confidence in a professional environment.
This is more than an internship. It is a chance to explore your potential, build capability and take the first step towards a career that feels truly remarkable.

- Private Enterprise
- Tax (including Corporate Tax and Specialist Tax)
Please note: Service line opportunities offered may vary between office locations and opportunities in certain teams may be restricted by CA eligibility.
Eligibility
International students who are studying at an Australian tertiary institution and hold a relevant visa are invited to complete an Expression of Interest to be considered for our graduate roles. We recommend you review our international student and graduate eligibility information before starting your application.
To be eligible to be considered for a 2026/2027 Vacation Program opportunity, you must:
- Be in your penultimate or final year of your undergraduate or postgraduate studies; and
- Hold a Student Visa (Subclass 500) or Temporary Graduate Visa (Subclass 485)
