Lead the development of content and a team of writers and editors to deliver communications across the department's newsletter and social media channels as the Manager, Content Strategy and Editorial.
About the Role
This is a full time ongoing role.
The Manager, Content Strategy and Editorial leads development and delivery of content across the department's newsletter and social media channels. It leads a team of 7 (3 of whom are direct reports) writers and editors responsible for writing and editing content. The manager is a member of the Digital and Creative Services leadership team.

It leads a team of 7 (3 of whom are direct reports) writers and editors responsible for writing and editing content. The manager is a member of the Digital and Creative Services leadership team.
The role contributes to a broad range of communication activities across the Division. Ad hoc after-hours work may be required.

They will be someone who can operate comfortably at both strategic and operational levels, with the ability to set direction, influence senior stakeholders and lead complex work through to delivery. About the Division
Communications Division leads, shapes and supports communication of Victorian Government priorities for early childhood and school education. The Digital and Creative Services Branch creates and manages the content and channels that deliver the Department's communication objectives. The branch provides expert advice and services related to design, brand management, written and visual content development, digital channels and advocates for a digital-first approach to communications across the department.
