Full job description
Harmoney is an Australian–New Zealand online personal lender that provides fully digital unsecured and secured loans for purposes like debt consolidation, home improvement, and major personal expenses using data-driven credit assessment.
A Java Software Engineer designs, develops, tests, and maintains software applications using the Java programming language. These engineers often work on backend systems, enterprise applications, APIs, cloud platforms, and large-scale business software.
Java Software Engineer Job Description
Typical responsibilities include:
Developing backend applications using Java
Designing RESTful APIs and microservices
Writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code
Debugging and optimizing application performance
Working with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
Collaborating with frontend engineers, QA, and DevOps teams
Implementing security and data protection practices
Participating in code reviews and agile development processes
Deploying applications to cloud platforms
Pay: $9,100.00 – $12,000.00 per month
