The Opportunity
Monash Rural Health Mildura has an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer (Practice) in Clinical Skills to contribute to high-quality clinical education. Working within the clinical skills laboratory and placement settings, the role develops and delivers engaging clinical skills training, helping medical students build the practical knowledge and capabilities needed for contemporary healthcare practice.
Working across a range of teaching and academic activities, this position delivers seminars, workshops, practical classes and clinical skills sessions, while supporting course development, student supervision and educational evaluation. The role also supports tutors delivering clinical and procedural skills training and contributes to the ongoing enhancement of teaching programs through collaboration and academic initiatives.
We are seeking someone with registered nursing qualifications recognised in Australia, current AHPRA registration, significant clinical experience, and a doctoral qualification or equivalent clinical and teaching experience. Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated teaching capability and the ability to build effective relationships across the University, healthcare sector and broader community will be highly regarded.

Travelling to various University campuses may be part of the position, and possessing a valid driver's license is crucial for performing the responsibilities.
