Full job description
Employment Status: Fixed term until January 2027 (Parental leave cover)
Days & Hours of Work: Part-time, totalling 25.35 hours per week (Flexibility on hours and days within business operating hours for the successful applicant)
Competitive Salary: Band 4 - $74,980.49 to $80,502.41 pro rata (dependent on experience) + 12% superannuation
Location: Enjoy the variety of working across multiple Bayside Council locations including the Corporate Centre in Sandringham, Bayside Gallery and Libraries

About the Role:
The Arts, Events & Libraries Support Officer is responsible for providing effective and efficient administrative support to the Manager of Arts, Events & Libraries and will be the conduit to the AEL Department as the first point of contact for general enquiries. The Officer will ensure the smooth delivery of AEL services, programs and processes. The Officer will have a strong customer focus and improvement mindset and will contribute to a high performing team culture.
You will be responsible for:
- Administration support
- Customer Service
- Relationships
Key Selection Criteria:
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies:
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality administration support and a very high standard of customer service
- Demonstrated ability to support the processing of different types of customer service requests including invoicing
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- High ability for multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Mandatory pre-employment requirements:
- Be willing to undergo and complete a satisfactory criminal history check
- Provide or obtain an employment-based Working with Children check
