Join Our Team as a Sports Turf Mower Operator!

We are on the lookout for a reliable and skilled Sports Turf Mower Operator to help maintain and enhance the quality of sports fields, across a variety of council-controlled sites throughout Brendale. As part of our team, you will be responsible for working alongside a team to maintain and enhance sports fields, by ensuring the sports turf remains pristine, while ensuring even mowing and a healthy, professional finish on a variety of sports fields. This is a hands-on role that requires keen attention to detail and a strong understanding of turf maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely machinery to maintain sports turf and other outdoor areas
• Ensure mowing is done to the highest standards, keeping grass healthy and looking great
• Conduct routine equipment checks and maintain machinery in good working order
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor promptly
• Assist with other turf management tasks such as edging, line marking, and general upkeep
• Adhere to safety procedures and company guidelines to maintain a safe work environment

Key Requirements:

• Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently
• White Card
• A MR license is essential for this role
• A Working with Children's Card (WWCC) is highly desired
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering top-quality work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
