We specialise in the provision of services which are always reliable and timely transport solutions across various sectors and industries (i.e., resources, construction, and retail).

Waalitj Freight and Logistics is seeking a Highly skilled and experienced Heavy Haulage Drivers to move float between Perth and around the Pilbara area.

Must have previous experience driving a Heavy Combination vehicle. Preferably competent and have experience loading and unloading plant and machinery in a safe and efficient manner.

Licensing & Qualifications:

  • Valid Heavy Vehicle Licence
  • MC (multi-combination) licence
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • High Risk Work Licence (desirable)
  • Load Restraint Certification
  • Dangerous goods driver licence (desirable)
  • Fatigue Management Accreditation
  • FMG / Rio Inducted (Highly desirable)
  • Load and Unload Plant: (Desirable)

Skills & Experience:

  • 2–5 years of experience operating Heavy Haulage Float trucks or transporting heavy equipment
  • Proven experience in specialised transport operations
  • Solid understanding of road transport legislation, permits and fatigue compliance
  • Knowledge of remote Western Australian roads and conditions
  • Professional attitude, safety focus, and reliability
  • Sound knowledge of Main Roads NHVR (National Heavy Vehicle Regulator) regulations
  • Strong route planning and understanding of oversize/over mass permits

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $48.00 – $52.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
