Job Description

We are seeking an Administration Officer to join our team at Lake Macquarie Private Hospital and Warners Bay Private Hospital. This role will see you working supporting our Medical Consulting Suites. As an Administration Officer, you will be a highly organised, enthusiastic professional with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This is a reception role where you will be responsible for the management of patient records, appointments and procedures and processing patient invoices and receipts. You will also be responsible for effectively performing administrative duties in line with our Ramsay Core Values to meet the needs of our customers and clinicians. Permanent Fulltime role.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will be a well-presented individual with highly developed communication and organisational skills. Your strong administration skillset, attention to detail and accuracy will be key to this role as will your ability to manage conflicting priorities working in a fast-paced environment.

You will also bring:

  • Previous medical administration experience in healthcare setting desirable
  • Ability to work autonomously as part of a team where required
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to maintain smooth operations.
  • Managing appointments, records, and correspondence efficiently.
  • Assisting with day-to-day office operations and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.
