Job Title: Part-Time Medical Receptionist

Dovecare Medical Centre is a patient-focused medical practice dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services. We are seeking a friendly and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient bookings efficiently using Best Practice medical software
• Process patient registrations and update medical records accurately
• Handle billing, Medicare, and private health claims
• Assist with general administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and data entry

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a medical receptionist (preferred)
• Proficiency in Best Practice medical software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Knowledge of Medicare billing and healthcare procedures (desirable)
• Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends if required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $27.00 – $35.00 per hour
