Bupa is growing our Health Insurance team in Adelaide, with multiple opportunities available across Hospital Claims and Ancillaries (Extras).

About the Role

As a Claims Processing Consultant, you’ll help our customers and providers navigate the claims process, ensuring claims are assessed accurately and resolved efficiently.

Depending on your team, you’ll work across Hospital or Ancillaries (Extras) claims and will:

• Assess and process health insurance claims
• Manage complex and exception claims
• Respond to customer and provider enquiries
• Work across multiple systems and applications
• Investigate issues and identify solutions
• Build strong relationships with customers, providers and internal stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and customer outcomes
• Work within relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for people who are customer-focused, detail-oriented and eager to learn.

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience in customer service, administration, claims or a similar environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• The ability to manage competing priorities
• Confidence working across multiple systems
• A positive, professional and customer-first approach

Experience in health insurance, healthcare, claims or contact centre environments will be highly regarded, but isn’t essential.

Training & Hybrid Working

We’re committed to setting you up for success.

For your first three months, you’ll complete comprehensive training onsite at our Adelaide CBD office.

Following training, you’ll move to our hybrid working arrangement:

2 days in the office | 3 days working from home

This provides the flexibility of working from home while maintaining regular opportunities to connect and collaborate with your team.
