About the role
The Remote Rotation Program provides early career medical officers with a unique opportunity to develop broad clinical skills across emergency, inpatient and community healthcare settings. Working within supportive multidisciplinary teams, you'll gain valuable experience managing diverse patient presentations while developing confidence, adaptability and cultural capability in rural and remote medicine.
Build broad clinical experience through rotational placements across North West Hospital and Health Service facilities and communities.
Engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to deliver culturally responsive and patient-centred care.
Participate in clinical education, quality improvement activities, telehealth services, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Working with us
Competitive base remuneration package based on full-time equivalent value up to $204,099 (Paid pro-rata for engagement period or part time employee) comprising:
Base salary ranges between $102,059 and $147,008 (L2-L7) (Paid pro-rata for engagement period or part time employee).
Up to 6 weeks annual recreational leave accumulation with up to 27.5% leave loading when taken.
Generous employer contribution to superannuation of 12.75%.
Professional Development Allowance.
Inaccessibility and Locality Allowances.
Tax savings through salary sacrificing options are also available.

Requirements
The position requires the incumbent to have obtained a degree qualification from a recognized tertiary institution and hold Current registration or eligibility for registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia.
Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.
To be "on-call" or participate in shift rosters is a requirement of the position.
C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
A period of probation may apply.
