About the role
  • Comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology procedures, including CT, US, MRI, Fluoroscopy, X-ray and Digital Subtraction Angiography.
  • Play a vital role in assisting medical staff with innovative procedures, both in Medical Imaging and in Interventional Radiology.
  • Expected to provide excellence in safe clinical care, whilst maintaining a high level of engagement with a diverse and vulnerable patient group.
  • Multiple development opportunities for staff to attend workshops such as Advance Life Support and cannulation.
  • Monday-Friday so a great work life balance. You will be required to be rostered for ‘on call’ shifts when fully trained.

About you
  • Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency.
  • Previous experience working in an acute hospital setting preferably in critical care, procedural areas or theatres.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within the interdisciplinary team using effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice as a registered nurse.
  • Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
