Your new role:
As the Clinical Nurse Consultant - Medical Imaging, you will provide advanced clinical leadership and specialist nursing expertise within Logan Hospital's Medical Imaging Department. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will support safe, high-quality patient care while leading service improvement, workforce development and clinical governance initiatives.
In this role you will:
Lead specialist nursing practice across CT, MRI, Interventional Radiology, Ultrasound and General Imaging.
Drive quality improvement, clinical governance and evidence-based care initiatives.
Provide expert clinical consultancy, education and mentorship to nursing staff.
Support operational leadership, workforce capability and service development within a 24/7 Medical Imaging service.
About you:
You are an experienced nursing leader with advanced clinical expertise in Medical Imaging and a passion for delivering exceptional patient-centred care.
You will bring:
Extensive Medical Imaging nursing experience, including advanced procedural support.
Strong leadership, coaching and team development capabilities.
Demonstrated experience in quality improvement, clinical governance and service redesign.
Expertise in contemporary nursing practice, clinical decision-making and multidisciplinary collaboration.
