About the Role

Provision of imaging services to the patients of St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and St Vincent’s Private Hospital within the Public Medical Imaging Department team.

  • Participate in clinical Radiography, performing imaging examinations independently across a number of modalities and sites within SVHM to a high diagnostic standard.
  • Demonstrate technical ability, knowledge and experience in a broad range of diagnostic examinations and modalities.
  • Fulfil duties in General X-ray, Theatre, Fluoroscopy, CT, Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratories (and additional modalities where appropriately trained).
  • Participate in a 24-hour roster across Medical Imaging.

Classifications for this position will range from Grade 1 (AF4) - Grade 2 (CW5) ($70,590 - $103,724 per annum pro rata).


Your Contribution

  • Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiation or equivalent.

  • National registration with AHPRA to practice as a Medical Imaging Technologist and a radiation use license.

  • A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History check, or willing to obtain

About Medical Imaging

St Vincent’s Medical Imaging (MI) provides four comprehensive diagnostic imaging programs across three campus sites.

St. Vincent’s Medical Imaging Department (MID) is a tertiary imaging department providing a comprehensive range of diagnostic and interventional imaging services to SVHM’s inpatients and outpatients.
