Your next career opportunity
In this role, you will deliver high-quality clinical education for MD students at PMCC and St Vincent’s. You will coordinate placements, assessments and curriculum innovation that enhance student learning and patient-centred cancer care.
What you will deliver:
- Lead clinical placement and education programs that align with the University of Melbourne MD curriculum requirements.
- Facilitate bedside teaching, tutorials and case-based learning for MD students across all clinical years.
- Contribute to design, delivery and marking of written, workplace-based and OSCE assessments for MD cohorts.
- Coordinate with PMCC and affiliated hospitals to ensure consistent, high-quality implementation of the MD program.
- Drive evaluation, quality improvement and educational projects that enhance St Vincent’s Clinical School learning experiences.
You may be a great fit if you:
- Hold a medical qualification recognised in Victoria and Fellowship in a surgical speciality.
- Maintain an active surgical clinical appointment at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
- Bring demonstrated experience teaching medical students within university and hospital environments.
- Manage competing demands effectively in a busy clinical setting while maintaining high educational standards.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, relationship-building and influencing skills across multidisciplinary clinical teams.
- Apply strong organisational, administrative and basic computing skills to coordinate placements and assessments.
