About the Role

This position offers a Consultant Gynaecological Oncologist the opportunity to provide high-quality, evidence-based subspecialist care to women with gynaecological malignancies within Victoria’s largest and most comprehensive gynaecology service. The role encompasses comprehensive clinical care, multidisciplinary collaboration, teaching and leadership with a strong commitment to patient-centred care, equity of access, and continuous quality improvement with scope for incorporation of research and service development.

Successful applicants will be expected to participate in the following domains:

• Deliver subspecialist inpatient, outpatient, and procedural care for patients with gynaecological cancers, including diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and palliative care.

• Perform advanced gynaecological oncology surgery consistent with credentialing and scope of practice across various Monash Health surgical sites

• Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and contribute to coordinated treatment planning.

• Provide on-call services as part of the consultant roster.

• Ensure care is culturally safe and aligned with national clinical guidelines.
