The Role
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Urgent Care Service. As a vital team member, you will provide high-quality nursing support and ensure all patients that present to the Urgent Care Service are identified as being appropriate for the service, triaged promptly and provided with front line care in collaboration with the Urgent Care Medical Practitioner. - Conduct thorough and precise nursing triage — quickly assess patient needs and prioritize care to ensure the best outcomes.

- Empower through education — provide essential health information that equips patients to take charge of their wellbeing.
- Maintain meticulous documentation — complete all patient records accurately and promptly to support continuity of care and quality standards.
- Champion workplace health and safety by actively participating in safety initiatives, promptly reporting any incidents/hazards whilst fostering a secure and supportive work environment.
- Current AHPRA registration as an Registered Nurse.
- Must be available evenings and weekends.
- Meet the minimum experience level in any one of the following:
- 3 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting OR
- 3 years of triage experience OR
- 3 years of experience in ICU, CCU, Rural or remote nursing.
- Previous experience in triage with an emergency department, remote nursing is preferred.
- You will be required to provide a Working with Children’s check and National Police check if not already obtained.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Ability to assess and recognise health deterioration and escalate appropriately.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent attention to detail.
- Can work autonomously and delegate when appropriate.
