Medical Radiation Therapist jobs

This position is to provide routine radiation therapy services within a diverse team of radiation therapists with various skills and abilities to oncology patients whilst working as a member of a team in the following clinical areas: Radiation Therapy Treatment and Radiation Treatment Planning.

Deliver Radiation Therapy clinical services as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health, in accordance with the goals, policies and requirements of the Sunshine Coast Hospital Health (SCH).

Key Responsibilities include:
Provide routine services in a radiation therapy treatment or planning unit/s.
Apply clinical knowledge and skills to routine decision making under clinical practice supervision, commensurate with experience.
Adhere to working practices and standards that provide for safely delivered radiation therapy treatment, including; safe operation of equipment to avoid electrical, mechanical or radiation hazard to patients, staff and others.
Maintaining a sound understanding of all external legislative and internal policies and procedures that impact in the relevant clinical service area.

Remuneration based pro rata on equivalent full time value up to $132 567 p.a., comprising salary between $3067.00 - $4453.50 p.f. (f/t) or salary rates: $40.35 - $58.59 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3) (Fixed Term Temporary full time, 76 hrs p.f.&/or part time positions for up to 12 months).
