Position Overview:
As a Medical Receptionist at Bliss Medical Centre, you will be the first point of contact for patients, delivering exceptional customer service with a friendly and professional attitude. You will manage front-desk operations, including appointment scheduling, patient check-ins, and administrative support to the clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors warmly, assisting with inquiries and ensuring they feel comfortable.
• Manage appointment bookings, rescheduling, and cancellations via phone and electronic systems.
• Process patient registrations and verify personal and medical details.
• Handle billing and insurance inquiries, ensuring accurate patient records and payments.
• Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area.
• Support the medical team with administrative tasks as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a GP Medical Receptionist role (essential)
• Proficient in using Best Practice software (essential)
• Good understanding of HotDoc private billing function
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously / Independently
• A caring and professional attitude, with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $28.17 – $33.66 per hour

• Medical receptionist: 1 year (Required)
• Best Practice: 1 year (Required)
