Full job description

We are a friendly and busy medical practice in Hawthorn seeking a Junior Medical Receptionist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain experience in a healthcare environment while working part-time hours.

About the role

  • Part-time: approximately 10–15 hours per week
  • Shifts available Monday to Friday:
  • 9:00am – 1:30pm and/or
  • 1:00pm – 5:00pm
  • Hours are negotiable
  • Immediate start preferred

Key qualities we’re looking for

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and well presented
  • Honest and trustworthy
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience & suitability

  • Previous customer service experience is an advantage
  • Recent high school graduates and university students are welcome to apply
  • No prior medical reception experience required — training will be provided
