Department for Health and Wellbeing – Clinical System Support & Improvement – Office of the Chief Medical Officer
Salary: $102,171 to $108,071 – ASO6 – Full Time / Term Contract up to 4 October 2027

Overview:
The Research Project Officer forms part of a team with the primary purpose to provide access to clinical trials ‘closer to home’ for patients, regardless of where they live and in particular in Regional, Rural and Remote (RRR) areas.

The Research Project Officer is responsible for coordinating and undertaking the planning, implementation and evaluation of complex support services for primary sites and satellite sites across SA to deliver on the Australian Teletrial Program. The role facilitates the acceleration and connection of clinical trial activity to regional, rural and remote (RRR) patients and acts as the primary support for sponsors and investigators in the expansion of the tele trials model across broad clinical fields.

The position is funded through a Medical Research Future Fund grant.

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.

Special Conditions

May be required to undertake some intra or interstate travel which may require the incumbent to be away from home.
