What You’ll Do:

As an independent contractor using CareVicinity, you’ll use our marketplace to match with clients in your local area and provide care services that matter, including:

  • Companionship & social support.
  • Daily assistance – meal prep, errands, transport.
  • Personal care – showering, toileting, mobility (requires additional qualifications).
  • Light household duties – cleaning, gardening.
  • Nursing – wound care, medication management (requires additional qualifications).
  • Allied Health – Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Dietetics (requires additional qualifications).

You choose what types of care you offer based on your qualifications and preferences.

Who We’re Looking For:

People who are empathetic, responsible and dependable, especially those who:

  • Are experienced in aged care, disability, mental health, or general support work.
  • Are looking to work independently with support from a trusted platform.

What You’ll Need:

  • The right to work in Australia
  • An Australian Business Number (ABN)
  • A valid Police Check (within 3 years)
  • Two references (character or professional)
  • Relevant qualifications if offering personal or nursing care (e.g., Cert III, AHPRA reg)
  • Vehicle and comprehensive insurance if offering transport

Nice to have:

  • First Aid Certificate
  • Manual Handling Certificate
  • CPR
