Laboratory Technician – Construction Materials Testing

Western Geotechnical & Laboratory Services

Perth WA | Full Time

FIFO | various rosters

Western Geotechnical & Laboratory Services is seeking a reliable and detail-focused Field and Laboratory Technician to join our busy construction materials testing laboratory.

This role is ideally suited to someone who understands what good work looks like, takes pride in consistency and enjoys being part of a productive team environment.

We are looking for someone dependable, physically capable and comfortable performing repetitive but important tasks to a high standard.

The laboratory is fast-paced and quality focused. Attention to detail, accountability and consistency are critical to the success of the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sample preparation and laboratory testing
  • Soil, concrete and aggregate testing
  • Equipment cleaning and maintenance
  • Recording and checking test data
  • Maintaining laboratory organisation and cleanliness
  • Assisting technicians and supervisors
  • Following testing procedures and quality systems

Previous laboratory or construction industry experience is helpful but not essential. Training will be provided to the right person.
