Logistics Coordinator | Followmont Transport

Keep freight moving and operations running smoothly.

Followmont Transport is seeking a proactive and organised Logistics Coordinator to coordinate freight operations, manage transport schedules, and ensure the efficient movement of goods across our transport network.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate daily freight pickups, deliveries, and transport schedules

Monitor shipment progress and provide delivery updates to customers

Allocate loads and routes to drivers to maximise efficiency

Maintain accurate freight documentation and transport records

Resolve transport delays, service issues, and operational challenges

Update transport management systems and generate operational reports

Monitor performance metrics and identify process improvements

Collaborate with drivers, warehouse teams, suppliers, and contractors

Skills & Experience

Experience in logistics, transport, freight, or supply chain operations

Strong organisational and time-management skills

Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook

Ability to prioritise tasks and perform under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field

Experience using Transport Management Systems (TMS)

Knowledge of Australian transport regulations

Experience within freight, transport, or warehousing environments
