About the Role:
This is a casual position within the Physiotherapist Department. You will be responsible for providing clinical and non-clinical support to ensure the smooth running of the Physiotherapy Department, primarily on weekends.
Internally, this position will also be known and/or referred to as: Allied Health Assistant (Grade 2) - Physiotherapy, Allied Health Assistant - Casual.
Classification for this position is in accordance with Award 04 - Health and Allied Services.
The position is graded at IN29 (Allied Health Assistant (Grade 2)) from $65,042.12 per annum, plus superannuation.
What you'll achieve:
Assist physiotherapists in providing assessment and treatment sessions
Arrange physiotherapy equipment to facilitate patient discharge
Assist with clinical administrative tasks to support efficient patinet workfow within the hospital system
Your skills and experience:
Hold an Allied Health Assistant qualification
Completion of a minimum of 80 hours of clinical practice experience
Previous experience working with patients in hopsital and healthcare environments
Experience working or interacting with children and adolescents
