- Fixed-term, full-time role earning $142,790 - $166,938 per year, plus super.
What you will do
As manager, confiscation operations, you will lead a skilled team that manages confiscated assets and enforces court orders.
You will improve how the team works while supporting important legal and policy decisions.
You will:
- lead a team with clear guidance and practical support
- manage complex confiscation cases and oversee restrained and forfeited assets
- provide expert advice on legal, policy and operational matters
- prepare high-quality briefings, reports and court documents
- improve efficient processes, support staff development and help deliver better outcomes.
About you
A tertiary qualification in law is preferred. You should also have knowledge of the Confiscation Act 1997, or the ability to quickly build that knowledge.
You should also have:
- strong leadership skills and experience managing people
- excellent written communication and the ability to prepare complex documents
- sound knowledge of civil enforcement processes and strong problem-solving skills
- the ability to build positive working relationships and lead continuous improvement.
