Full job description

Seers Digital is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Senior Oracle Forms / PL/SQL Engineers for upcoming project opportunities. This role will suit a highly experienced engineer with deep knowledge of legacy Oracle environments and a strong background in analysing complex applications, databases and business logic.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead source code reverse engineering across Oracle Forms applications
  • Analyse Oracle database objects and application dependencies
  • Map relationships between source code, database components and business processes
  • Review and validate business and system rules extracted using AI-assisted tools
  • Identify technical risks, dependencies and areas requiring further investigation
  • Produce clear technical documentation to support modernisation and transformation activities
  • Work closely with technical teams and project stakeholders throughout delivery

About you

You will ideally bring:

  • 15+ years of experience working with Oracle Forms
  • Strong experience with Oracle Forms 6
  • Extensive Oracle 9 and Oracle 11 database engineering experience
  • Advanced PL/SQL and database object analysis skills
  • Experience in source code reverse engineering and dependency mapping
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • The ability to validate complex business and system rules
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
