Food Production Assistant (Full-time)

Location: Homebush West, NSW
Employment Type: Full-time or Casual
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Day Shift)

About Us

We are an established a food company specialising in the production and distribution of premium Japanese and organic food products. We are looking for a reliable and motivated Food Production Assistant to join our production team.

No previous food manufacturing experience is required. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with food production and packing
  • Prepare raw materials for production
  • Operate production equipment following training
  • Pack finished products and prepare orders
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment
  • Follow food safety, hygiene and quality procedures
  • General warehouse and production duties as required

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a valid Australian work visa with unrestricted work rights
  • Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
  • Can work well as part of a team
  • Is willing to learn new skills
  • Can perform some physically demanding work
  • Is committed to workplace hygiene and food safety
  • Plans to remain in Sydney for the foreseeable future (preferred)
  • Some understanding of Japanese culture and language skills (preferred)

Previous experience in food manufacturing, warehousing or factory work is an advantage but not essential.
