Reporting directly to the Practice Manager, you will conduct a range of occupational health screening assessments while ensuring clients receive a professional, efficient and positive experience throughout their appointment.

Working closely with our clinical and administration teams, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of safe, reliable and timely health assessments. Previous medical screening, pathology collection or clinical experience is highly regarded; however, training and support will be provided for the right candidate.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Conducting occupational health screening assessments in accordance with company procedures and client requirements.
  • Performing pathology specimen collection, including accurate labelling, processing and documentation.
  • Conducting audiometry, spirometry and ECG testing.
  • Supporting the efficient flow of clients through screening services while maintaining a high standard of customer care.
  • Recording accurate and confidential health information and maintaining appropriate documentation.
  • Preparing and maintaining clinical equipment and supplies to support safe and efficient service delivery.
  • Following infection prevention and control practices and workplace health and safety requirements.
  • Providing professional support and guidance to clients throughout the screening process.
  • Completing general administration duties to support the effective operation of the clinic.
  • Working collaboratively with healthcare professionals and administration team members to deliver an exceptional client experience.

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will be a professional and organised healthcare team member who is passionate about delivering quality service and supporting positive health outcomes for clients.

Essential Requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate confidently with clients.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities.
  • Strong organisational skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services.
  • Professional approach with a strong focus on confidentiality, safety and client care.
  • Willingness to learn and follow occupational health screening procedures and processes.
Desirable
  • Previous experience in medical screening, pathology collection, healthcare administration or a clinical environment.
  • Experience conducting audiometry, spirometry or ECG testing.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety principles and occupational health practices.
